Need help on this. At a gunshow and there is a stainless 445 in excellent condition. One problem is that can't feel the action cuz show puts those plastic tie wire things thru the action. Asking $1200. I haven't made any attempt to negotiate at this time. What do you guys think? Good buy or not? Thanks.

I'd try to get him down in the $900 range to leave yourself some room for service funds if it needs it.

Thanks Harly. Forgot to say it is a Monson. With the the large oval ports on the side, 8 inch barrel.

Tell him you want to inspect the action and cut off that tie. They will do if they want to sell, besides, wire ties are cheap.
