Hello DW friends.
I'm not much of a drinker, BUT I just had to buy a 12 Pac!!!!
It's been shot, but it is one of the cleanest old revolvers I've ever seen. The only numbers on the revolver are 3 numbers, 958, under the cylinder crane. I cannot get a good enough picture to show them. I'm hoping Ole Dog can shine some light on them.
I'm sorry 2 pic are upside down, but I cannot turn them over.
Ole Dog, these are the pics of the grip tang and the number under the cylinder crane.

Very nice. The numbers on the grip tang are the serial number. Very early gun. Models 11 and 12 serial numbers go up to 10,000.
Ole Dog, there are not any numbers or marks on the grip tang. I've had the grip off and looked closely. I think I will take pictures of it and send them to you.

Steve, thanks for sharing the great pics, I didn't know the nifty black case was introduced before the guns hit the 1000 serial numbers. Good to know!
Or if I did, my feeble brain has long since flushed it...
Again, thanks for sharing your pics, it is great to see info like this.
