This is an interesting pac I purchased from a gentlemen in Georgia.
He said he purchased new, I forget the date, and had Nitex finish applied.
The Nitex finish caused the spent rounds to stick so he sent the gun to DW. All they did was send it back with a blued cylinder along with the nitex cylinder...now that's customer service.
Anyway, thought this interesting enough to share with the group.
will post more pics after i pick up from my ffl

This was on Guns America for a long time. When I first looked at it he had it listed and did not come clean about it being Nitex coated. After a little prying he came clean about it being a blue revolver that had been coated. Then the problem with cases sticking was that he had it coated why would Dan Wesson replace it? anyway I stayed away due to the coating and not knowing enough about it and how it affects value. You can't beat the price for it though if it shoots ok a 2 barrel gun in original box for $850 (maybe you got it for less) Maybe you can have some work done on the original cylinder and put it back in the gun.

I talked to the seller for a long time very good guy from Georgia he purchased in 1978. He sent me the original sales receipt from Houston Texas and the paperwork from Dan Wesson replacing the cylinder
Fixing the nytex cylinder should be pretty easy
I should get the gun end of the week I will post more pictures
