The middle 15” BA is the one I just received delivery of today that I bought on Proxibid last week. I didn’t notice in the auction pics there’s no roll marks on it. What does this mean? Is this common? Or rare? Does it indicate a manufacturing location like Monson, Palmer or Norwich built? Overall it’s not perfect, but in way better condition in person than I thought from the pics, so I’m glad about that. Any input appreciated.

My guess is if you offer a buyer a 15” DW BA and an equivalent from EWK without the roll mark, the DW would be chosen first every time. This leads me to believe the DW is valued higher, but due to rarity, both are close in value. DW will always be valued higher IMHO. Nonetheless, given the high quality of EWK’s BAs, I’m happy with the $1417.42 I paid.

I sold my 15 BA, they are totally impractical, Other than bragging rights.
I find 10 to 12 inch still shootable off hand, 15 requires a rest. And honestly, I'll grab a carbine or other rifle if I need a rest or the range.
For the money, I can get a complete gun that I can actually shoot.
I also don't change BA's often once I get one set up on a gun that I like.
I have a decent assortment of BA's and pistol pacs, but they aren't the focus of my collection.
