Does anyone know where I can get a decent priced full crane assembly with the cylinder or just the cylinder and extractor for a 15-2?
While shooting today, I opened the cylinder to remove the spent rounds and see image 1 below, it appears that the bushing that aligns the extractor came out; When I got home, I took the cylinder off and reassembled it, but the bushing won't stay in place; On my second reassembly of it, I made matters worse and I some how cross threaded the ejector rod back into the extractor, and when trying to remove it, I made it much worse as can be seen in the 2nd pic...so I am looking for a cylinder, ejector rod, and extractor, or a whole assembly...can anyone point me in a good direction? I hate to put it in a drawer and forget about it...love shooting it too much

IMHO----It is generally not recommended for average person to just take parts and swap cylinders and extractors on DW. These parts are all involved in the cylinder timing. If timing is off you will " spray lead" of even worse. Probably gunsmith required or Keith at Dan Wesson factory. You could have bought the parts you need on ebay for 62 bucks last week. Timing is everything....pun intended

I would email Keith Lawton at the Dan Wesson factory, it may not be that expensive to have it properly repaired. It is the only place you are sure of having a qualified person who understands Dan Wesson revolvers.

Those fellows are right, but. If you buy a crane and cylinder assembly from one of those horrible pack breakers (lol) who sell on ebay you can use your own extractor and rachet and will not have a timing problem. The cost will be in the $125-165 range. It will be close to that to send it to Dan Wesson. The bushing and extractor almost never show up by themselves and the extractor star needs to be fitted to the hand and vise versa. If your extractor is not usable because of the cross threading I would send it to Dan Wesson. If it is useable than be patient and look on ebay or check back in here for an ejector rod and bushing. A relatively inexpensive fix. Some of us have them.
