I was never into the .22 but I bought a pork chop so .22 may be next! I did notice that one like yours seems to bring big money! A .22 pistol pac sold for well over $2000 last month. I guess I always thought that Dan Wessons were big caliber guns. I have so many High Standard .22's in both LR & .22 Magnum. I missed out on a chance to pick up a Dan Wesson .22 Magnum last month LNIB Stainless for $1500 I thought it was a lot but looking back now the .22 Mag Dan Wesson seems high dollar. Your pac is beautiful! You need a 2.5 barrel? I will keep a look out for one!

That was my question I forgot to post.

Were pistol packs only sold with all 4 barrel options or could some have come with only 3?

dwf-welcome to the dwf

Nice Pack. I believe the original Pork Chop Packs only had three BA's and the Field Pack only had two, but the Hunter Pack was three.

The later Pistol Packs like yours came with four; 2-1/2", 4", 6" & 8".

That is a beautiful find. Enjoy taking it out and letting it do what it loves to do, shoot bullets.  drooldrool

I hope a 22 is my next DW find.  I have yet to find on for sale at a decent price.

Steve.

As far as I know, the 22 Pacs did all come with 4 barrels. With yours, the previous owner may have misplaced or sold the 2" BA.

Thanks for sharing the cool-pics it looks great!

OK two charger people i'm confused! I wonder now if I sent the wrong Charger guy a message! So we have Charger Fan & Charger22 is new to the forum. I wonder if either one now lives in L.A. I'm confused enough I still call them San Diego Chargers. Maybe Charger22 is not a football fan at all but a 22 year old person who likes to do war reenactments and just likes to yell charge while running with a sword? LOL I like chargers also but always a Rams fan when I was a kid growing up in Phoenix, AZ we had no team.  Jack Snow & roman Gabriel were playing in the L.A. Coliseum so I became a Rams fan. Now i'm expected to be a Cardinals fan when we have a 4 ft QB. It's never going to work!

I too was sceptical of of a 357  chambered in 22. But consider, Colt Trooper MK iiis came in 22. K fame Smiths chamber 22,32,and 38 and 357. Then I seem to have acquired  a few DW 22s. And then the best of all, the 10" IHMSA 22. Wow! The DW accuracy coupled with the 10" sight radius is the bomb.

MOPAR, not NFL.....

Hah! Yep, sorry Stan, my Charger name is derived from the 70's MOPAR end of things. I don't care one iota about football, especially after the past few years! Grrr... yell

Until last year, I owned a trio of '70 Dodge Chargers, now I'm back down to my original that I've had since 1986. Been trying to off-load much of the other "stuff" in my collection. Last year I was at 14 vehicles, I am now down to 11, hopefully this summer I can find homes for 3 others. wink Getting older now, and some of these projects I can see are not gonna get done by me, so time to find them good homes.

MOPAR nice. I'm a MUSTANG guy have owned 8 different ones over the years. Ones I let get away to early were 1970 Mach I 1969 convertible 351 Cleveland. My brother and I were always 351 fans. Then in 1985 I bought a new GT in 1991 New GT convertible. My brother had a 1970 Shelby 500 , I'm too old and fat to drive them anymore. I also had a 2005 Thunderbird which was mostly a Jaguar I loved that car and just sold it. brother still has a 2011 GT. Love those old cars! My Kia Soul Turbo is great easy to get in and out of! LOL

Nice! I have had 3 Mustangs, a 68 289 notchback, an 86 GT with T-tops, and currently an 84 5.0 convertible. I need to rebuild the engine in that one, one day soon. I will never own a Kia. big-grin
