WOW that may be the first complete 38 special pistol pac we've seen.  Can't wait for the pics!

I agree with Scorpio I don't recall ever seeing a .38 Special pac, hopefully somebody will assist you with pics, I am not a good help in that respect.

Since one never showed up before, it would be hard to put a value on it but I would say it would be the equal of a .357 pac.

Frankly, a genuine .38 Spl Pack would be unusual enough that it would be worth a good bit more than a .357 15-2 Pack.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

It looks like it is the black Tourister case also.  If a collector had a hole in their collection for a .38 spl. it could bring a premium over a .357.  Otherwise I think most would be hard pressed to value it comparable to a .357.  Toss it up for auction and see what it brings.

Just found out some info on this gun from an old timer.  He told me it was a Model 9 Target Pistol Pack. He advised me that Model 9's are very rare, never mind being in a pistol pack.  Any more info on this would be appreciated.

Picture came up fine Ron, glad I could help.

Those are the Standard shroud. harly is correct that the real value in this (if you are attempting to sell) is to a collector trying to fill a hole in a DW collection.

Storing in the case should not be an issue as long as the storage environment is otherwise stable and appropriate.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I have two model eights but no model nine; in fact, I've never run across one- let alone one with all the barrels.  Nice find!

SWEET!  BTW are those ear plugs in the middle of the case or something else?
