I just p/u my 2nd DW and think I did ok on this one. I'll try to take some pics today. The local gs owner called today and asked if I wanted to look at it before he put it on display. First off it is a Palmer gun. I beleive it's a 715? It is a stainless 357 with a 2" bbl and adjustable sights. The gun is in ammazing condition with just a hint of darkness on the cylinder face and a faint ring on the cylinder. It has the small grip on it. DWs are hard to come by in my area and since this gun looked so nice and passed all the tests with flying colors I popped the $400 asking price. The serial no is S0048XX. I would rate it @ 98%, it's gorgeous! Am i correct in my assumption of the model and do you think the price was ok? I paid the asking price because I wanted it and I rarely do that. Yes it is a switch bbl revolver. Thanks for any input.

That's a great price for a 715, especially when you can inspect/buy it locally. It is just my opinion, but it seems to me that 715s with the 2 1/2" barrel seem to show up less often than the other barrel lengths.
