I've enjoyed the red dots on my rimfire guns for a long time.  I thought it was about time to add one to a centerfire.  I got this model 15 on GB a few months ago.  It was in great shape.

The barrel was changed to a 6" VH and I drilled and tapped the shroud for a CZ/Dan Wesson mount.  I really like the mount but I wish it came with screws.  Not a huge deal just cost me another week waiting for screws to come in.  I've been really wanting to try one of the miniature fast fire III sights.  I'm one proud papa.  I don't know that this could have turned out any better.  That's 5 shots at 25 yards!!

Very nice- I see you've posted it on Specialty Pistols as well.  Way to spread the Dan love and good shooting!

Great before and after pics.  I wish DW naysayers would try to absorb how versatile DWs are.  I will take a Dan over a Smith any day of the week.  Don't get me wrong, I do have a few Smiths though.

I like the scope base, especially with a Fastfire on it.  It is similar to a Weigand base.  The Weigand comes back over the rear sight and is bulkier.  I have a Weigand on my 15-2 with a 2.5-7 TC scope.  My hope is to shoot a few woodchucks with it this summer.  I am not sure if my pic has uploaded.  I tried to add it as an attachment.

OK, the upload worked this time.  Anyway, here is my 15-2 with a Weigand base.
