So I bid on this some of you may have been bidding also on it. Won it at $755 looked like a good deal with two barrels but as always I do not know or can I tell if it's a original factory job or not. The way the label is marked it looked like the second barrel was ordered with the gun but again I have no idea! any thoughts! Thanks! Stan

I was bidding but I am a master at not winning. There were several bids after mine so I didn't drive it up. I would have bid more but the second BA looks half nickel and half blue. But the gun looks original EXCEPT, the cylinder latch is not original. It has a smooth surface with ridges on the top ala the dash ones. An improvement but not the original latch. I am surprised sharp eyed Stinger didn't see that. I thought I might have been confused so I checked my nightstand drawer. It has been swapped out. You know what they say? One thing changed, maybe more things changed. Lol. I am sure it is original nickel though. I recommend Wolff reduced power springs. The springs and the nickel (in fine condition) make it arguably the best DA trigger of any revolver.

Well, it has the correct blued trigger, hammer and front & rear sights. Those parts are usually refinished with the gun if aftermarket. So, I'd say original.
I agree, looks original. To me though, the height of the front sight on the 6" BA looks like it may be from a 15-1. But those pics aren't great, so I could be wrong.

Good catch Ole Dog! Looking at the latch, that is definitely a later latch. That makes me wonder if the gun was sent back to DW at some point for a tune-up, and possibly they slapped in updated bits while it was there. Noting the extra hammer & trigger (& other parts), along with the -2 series barrel wrench in the last photo makes me wonder even more. Too bad the gun didn't come with a paper trail...or did it? What say you, Stan?

We shall see if it ever gets here. I purchased gun the seller says several times that shipping does not include insurance. This to me is just stupid crazy. I went back and forth still waiting for them to call me and collect an extra $11.75 for insurance. Some sellers are nuts. Why would your shipping quote not include insurance? Of course you want to insure a $1000 gun in case it's lost! GunBroker should be more like ebay in this case where the seller is responsible for insurance on shipping. Makes me think some of these sellers the fix is in. Just the fact the seller says that in the listing makes me wonder. THey should have just the same responsibility as the buyer. I can just see if the gun got "lost" in the mail and the seller washes his hands of it.
I wonder if the trigger has been updated with the dash one trigger. It has a little ledge where the trigger return spring rests. That makes the hammer fall longer and slower. If so, you may want to put the original trigger back in. What I said about the great trigger is predicated on the short hammer fall of the trigger with no ledge.
