Local gun store find a few weeks ago; lay-a-wayed and picked it up Friday. My wife actually saw it in the display case when we stopped in for ammo late last month. I swear she secretly works with the shop guys to take my money. Not cheap, but we do get a nice discount from the shop as a regular customers, but nothing of quality firearms is low-cost here in Massachusetts anyhow.
Model 15 (methinks) in .357 Magnum (pork chop years). Just dawned on me to look at the box Endplate to see if there is any model designations....but it's a Monson build, 2 barrels (2" / 4"), box, papers, tool. No gauge but I got one already for my DW 22. Serial number on the crane puts it in 1971 but I need to double-check the registry (158xx). Bluing is very good with just a slight scratch on the left side frame cover. Whoever had it before must have kept it in a good dry safe, as all papers are dry and no tarnish seen at all. It's been shot with both barrels, but thanks to the previous owner for good stewardship with it.
Very good condition and cleaned up nicely. Off to the range tomorrow....

Forgot to add this in with the original post: It pays to scour the bargain bins at your LGS....found this Dan Wesson vinyl handgun case for just $5.00 (cat not included) this past Saturday. Outside is vinyl, no cuts and cleaned up well with light wipe of Ballistol and then vinyl cleaner with Scotchgard. Zipper works smooth and no kinks. Dan Wesson logo still clearly there in a gold paint or however those are applied. Inside has rust-tarnish marks but the elastics are still good. Couple sprays of Fabreeze fabric spray and its good for the range bag.
