Hello to all! Hope you are doing fine!
Its been ages since I posted anything but I check out the forum regularly.
For those who remember me and are a bit interested, my Dan Wesson is going strong and got a few new stuff over the last years I wanted to share with you!
-Finally got some speed loaders, in Greece stuff like that cost an arm and a leg, God bless the net!
-In the previous place I worked I has access to a lasercut machine, so I created a few new front blades. Because of the flat design the optic fibers ones were snugging on the holster so one of them was ramped and still had enough light.
-Found a "new" gripper! Searching through ebay I found it in UK from all places, along with a very nice black leather 4 inch holster from the same warehouse with all sorts of gun related stuff. Leftovers of the handgun ban of 1996. The grip was in horrible condition but practically new. Very dirty and the previous owner had tried very poorly to remove the mold seam with a modeling knife. Deep clean and sanding from coarse to fine grits brought it life. Cost : 40 euros or about 44 dollars!
-The gun had started to develop light strikes in DA and excessive cylinder movement front to back (no wobble). I used a brass shim that fitted but soon brass started to deteriorate. So new inox purpose cut shims, do not remember the thickness, but I had to use a sandpaper to bring the one I have now on to the desired thickness. Worked like a charm except for the Fiocchi .38spl round(!) nose ammo, very hard primers!
-Finally had to create a nice case, found one that worked, cut a nice plaque and then arranged the foam provided in the case (precut blocks). I have drawn an outline in Autocad for a nice cutout but still haven't gone to a shop. Maybe when I find some good foam I give it a try with an x-acto knife.
Thank you all!
(Sorry that some photos were uploaded upside down, tried but couldn't find out how to fix it!)

Thank you guys for your nice comments!
Indeed things here are pretty difficult on obtaining gun stuff, especially for such a unique handgun in Europe!
Thank God for the forum and a couple of guys here who were more than happy to help me out keep my DW in top shape!
Being unable to get DWAS, at least I spend a lot of time with the one I have!
