Was re-organizing a couple Dans, thought this was standard 6in barrel but it measures 5 3/4”
Appreciate comments on history…where there two barrel lengths 6 & 5.75 or did they switch to 6inch

Nice looking gun!
Appears to be a 15 porkchop. The old W12 had the exposed nut and the barrel was 6 inches. When they first started making recessed nut 15' they just shortened the barrels and milled out the ends of the old style shrouds to accept the recessed nut, that's why it's shorter than 6".

I didn't blow up the pic but you're right, a 12 wearing a 15 porkchop barrel.

I remember discussing this. Not factory nickel. It was nickeled after the model 15 BA was purchased.
