I have had this revolver for 15 or 20 years i bought it used in Anchorage Alaska in the 90's

I think it is a 15-2VH6 but that is only a guess from browsing the forum, anybody have a guess as to what year this was made?

I am a commercial fisherman and this pistol used to travel with me to the boat it was used for beachcombing/hunting on Kodiak and flotsam reduction in Aleutians and Bering Sea.

I had it parkerized a few years ago, now i just take it to the range a few times a year

If I were a betting man, I'd say circa 1976.  And yes, you are correct on the model.  I'm guessing the Parker finish has held up well to the elements- any problems?  I'm thinking about something similar to my Gulf Fishing rig.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Looking good there andy b.  I have to agree with rwsem, probably 76' era. Nice job on the finish.

1976, I never would have guessed it was from the 70's... Cool

The Parker job turned out great for my needs, It may not be traditional, but it is functional, it works for me.

I know know these pistols are known for having a great trigger pulls, I have never measured it, this revolver has a very light trigger pull in single action, what is the average pull for a DW revolver?

I believe factory spec was 3-5 lbs for small frame. With a little work and some "diamondlube " or EWL oiil most of mine are 2.5 to 3 lbs. While not factory that finish looks VERY nice. Hugelk
