I picked this up today for a song. Literally- a dealer i know won an auction for hundreds of guns in the possession of a police agency, and this was in there. Well, of course, I had to jump in it. I think it's a model 15 vent rib heavy shroud. I know it's a 357. Excellent shape- probably only used in one holdup.

I need to get a feeler gauge, both for this and for the 357 supermag. I kknow they use different sizes, but I'm not sure on the Supermag size.

DW supplied .006 gauges with the normal guns and .002 with the SuperMags. Personally I gap all of my Dan's at .002

Thanks- good info. I'll try to find some tomorrow. I guess an auto parts store or Home Depot?

I have used a multi tool feeler gauge set from the Auto Zone for many years now, I think it's a great choice as long as you keep track of the gap that every gun/BA choice likes
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
