I bought my first Dan over 3 years ago knowing very little about them, and have wanted a nice Pac ever since. Just never wanted to pay the GB prices for minty ones and really not knowing what you are getting quality wise until you receive it.
Well last week I purchased this Pac at a local shop, I am very happy with it! 1977 era, everything is shiny and beautiful other than 1 sideplate scratch that seemingly every Dan acquires. Comes with brochure etc, and even 4 extra new barrel tubes that I was told the original owner purchased 'just in case'. The whole darn thing is so super clean even the fabric barely has a mark or smudge.
It is missing a couple things I will search for and replace. It did not come with any extra colored front sights, or a patch. The little plastic trim is missing from the case handle, although the case itself is in great condition. That little brown plastic trim piece might be hard to find.
Here are the

That one looks like a real beauty, way to go!
Looking at the marks on the spare barrels, I suspect that the original owner may have got those for different twist rates than the originals & not so much as merely spares. With that in mind, it's odd that the gun doesn't appear to have been fired a lot.
Maybe the guy got the whole setup with the intent of learning to become a first rate shooter, only to be sidelined somehow by life? If only that gun could talk... The dated warranty card is really icing on the cake.
