If anyone is looking for a nice model 15-2 I found one.
It is a 10” standard barrel with a hooded front sight an a rear peep. The gun was in very good condition. It is in a gun shop in Lena Wisconsin. Rocky Ridge gun shop. It had a price of $750 but I am thinking $700 would take it. I do not know if it had anything with it. Who ever had took very good care of it.

I'd feel more comfortable paying that if it were stainless not blued...

If the sights are important to you and a 15-2 in this good of shape is what you want $700 in Wisconsin is not bad. I know a lot of guys who only want blued guns. I myself can go either way, I have blued and stainless.

Hooded front sight? Can you have pictures sent to post on the forum? Rear peep sounds interesting too. I have a Ruger sight installed on a hunting rig with a one ragged hole rear peep.... 10" is a plus for a hunting pistol with a peep and hood.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I would have to drive back to the gun shop and take a picture. The shop is not close to where I live.
There is a Stainless 715 on Armslist for $775 also. I called and asked if they would take $700. They said yes. Search Dan Wesson (Wisconsin) in Armslist. There is a picture, the gun is located in western Wisconsin. About an hour from the twin cities Minn.
I do have a question, what is special about a 10” Dan Wesson?
I own 7 Dans, other than being in very good shape and the sights I did not think anything looked special. I have seen hooded front sights on this sight.

I checked (Wisconsin) in Armslist and there is not listed...gone maybe

The gun on Armslist was a std barrel not heavy. I will check and see if it is there, it was there a couple of days ago.
