I pick up my DW mod 15-2 with 8" barrel at my local GS in Philly back in Late Aug. It took me 2 months and about $850 but I got all 4 barrel sizes I like the 4" best. I got the 2.5 and the 4" from CZ USA and the 6" I got from Ebay. I am thoroughly enjoying this gun it is my av of the 24 I own, 2nd only to my AR pistol. I also found LB customs a guy who makes grips for Dan Wesson guns and I have a small grip in spalted maple being made. Thanx to this forum I learned everything I needed to know quite fast. Thanx

Congratulations on your extra barrels, collecting Dans is a fun hobby. I was looking more closely at your various shrouds and wonder if you realize that they are not all the same style? The 8" is a Standard (no vented rib or full length underlug), the 6" is a Vented Rib, the 4" is a Vented Heavy and the 2" is a Heavy.

Yea I know they're all different barrels but is kinda makes them unique

Congrats on getting 4 barrel lengths. I have 3 barrel lengths for my model 15's and will eventually get at least one more someday.
I have 4 DW revolvers and I love each of them (2 with new, LB custom grips). I keep thinking I should sell my Lil' Dan but every time I get it out to take pics of it to sell, I decide I don't want to sell it, LOL!

Congrats on finding the set...I was lucky enough to find one all in one when I bought my first DW in 1996. (There was a patch in there, too but I gave it to a friend.) The VH shrouds to get rather heavy when the barrels get over 6"... and I"ll admit that to me, the 12" or 15" VH I have seen look like they may be downright unwieldy.
It is a bit addicting collecting DW stuff, I added a second 15-2 frame and a 3" EWK VH shroud to the DW stable about 5 years ago...It's at the upper right with the wooden Hogues. It's surrounded by the first 15-2 sporting it's 6" barrel and Pachmayr grip along with most of my .357 family of S&W's...
