Had some time after work to get to the range with the Sentinal. I think I have a new favorite shooter. I REALLY enjoyed shooting this gun. Its alot louder than my 15-2, probablly due to the short barrel, I usually shoot a 6" or 8", has a stout recoil too, but not uncomfortable. Some 20 somethings were shooting Glocks etc. beside me and thought the old gun looked cool. They were even more impressed when I shot it. Using 158gr SJHP mags it had quite a muzzel blast to both sides. I was impressed with the accuracy, made me look really good in front of spectators. Here are my first 12 magnum rounds thru the gun outside at 15 yards off hand double action.
Did I mention that I REALLY like this gun?

Good shooting there Tex! Sounds like good times, and most spectators end up drooling of our beloved DW's....

Darn, I was hoping you wouldn't like your new HS, and want to sell it to me!
Just kidding I am glad you like it, I have a Sentinel MK2 (fixed sight version) it is one of my favorites for plinking. I never cared for Porkchops until I bought one. Maybe someday we'll have to have a PA member Dan Wesson (High Standard too) shoot-n-show or something.

Maybe that's part of "a face only a mother could love", but I agree, they do grow on you once you acquire one. I sure do like mine.
