My tribute to Borderlands and the upcoming zombie apocalypse …
DW 14-2 (compliments of waltfraz), drilled and tapped for scope mount (up top) and picatinny rail (down low),
Pachmyar Gripper Grips, C-More Railway (amongst others) and Streamlight M6.
Carried off duty (and occasionally on duty) in a modified Safariland 002 ...

to the best Dan Wesson forum on the net! WOW, very cool guns where did you get the rail for the EH shroud? I think that is the most tactical DW I have ever seen. Just looking at it would make a Zombie crawl back into his grave. Is that a model 14-2 357mag under all those mods?
I hope you enjoy this site. Stick around, you're going to fit right in here!

Scorpio,
I first laid eyes on a DW PPC at a gun show here in Phoenix about two years ago ... I'm still kicking myself in the butt for not scooping it up when I had the chance.
I discovered from this forum that the EWH barrel shrouds share the same radius as the TC Encore barrels, so the upper scope mount and lower picatinny rail were originally designed for that gun. The scope mount is a Stratton Custom (from Brownells) and the picatinny rail is a trimmed EGW piece (that came with the gun at purchase).
And yes, it is a 14-2 Monson gun underneath all the hardware ...

Nice accessorizing, now all you need is a holster!!!
And therein lies the true challenge !!!
I'm making do with a modded Safariland 002, which I rebaked in the oven to loosen and tighten according to the gun's unique contours. It's surprisingly secure, although concealment under anything short of a jacket is, as you can imagine, impossible.
I'm trying to hook up with a holster maker I found in another forum, located in Tucson, who has made a few custom leather OWB holsters for 4-8" scoped revolvers that turned out surprisingly stout and sexy.
It looks something like this:

Eric's shroud/barrels are so cool! Yours looks great. Even though I have the stock DW 4" barrel I may buy one of Eric's when they become available again.
My DW with EWK 2.5" barrel/shroud and FO sight : (not as impressive as yours…)
I have to agree ... I do wish, though, that Eric would offer a non-radiused barrel shroud, for more of that blocky, true PPC/Action Cup look.
Your gun confirms it for me -- their shorty will be my next purchase.

That is friggin awesome! I love it. You carry that on duty?!
Welcome to the forum.
Thanks for the warm welcome ...
I've been off the street for awhile, in investigations. My typical duty piece is a Glock 23, though I find myself wearing a S&W 627-5 PC (8-shot .357 snubbie) more and more these days.
If I'm down at the range for more than half a day, I'll wear the DW ...
