Well this is my first post of my first DW. I picked this up today 22V pistol pack. Monson made. I believe it is unfired. Very slight turn ring. No power or burn on cylinder front or barrel. Now my delima as I am as much a collector as shooter. Do I shoot it. I believe I got a good deal $600.00.

That is not a 22V, it is the standard shroud configuration, Model 22, not Vent configuration. Since you obviously got taken on this deal, I'd be willing to take it off your hands for whatever you have into it .
Seriously, you done GREAT on that one. Only you can decide on the "Shoot/Don't Shoot" question. I know a guy pretty well who recently bought a NIB, guaranteed unfired, uncommon DW revolver, Serial Number 000001. It got shot as soon as ammunition was located, and continues to get shot regularly.
Just my opinion, if they were made to be looked at, they would have a hook built in to hang them on the wall.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Welcome to the fold. Since we are both in Georgia I'll just swing by and pick it up and save you the delmia. If you do decide to leave it unfired you should pick up a shooter to go with it. Just my thoughts. And if you are any where near the metropolis of Dearing you can shoot mine and see what you are missing.

Dare I say it - OUTSTANDING! My 722 came with 2-1/2" and 4" barrel assemblies. I bought a 6" barrel for it, but have never been able to find a shroud, so I shoot the 6" inside a shroud from my 715 (.357 Magnum), and I really like 6" in .22 lr.

Excellent deal on that. It would be a for a well-used pac.
Personally, the enjoyment of owning Dan Wessons, or any other gun, is the shooting of them. Looking at them is nice, but the unfired condition serves me no purpose unless I plan on selling the gun down the road.
