New to me, I bought it off of gun broker for $480 shipped, I'm going to clean it up and take it her out to the range later today. For those interested serial number is 36754X you might be able to see in the photos I'm uploading from my phone so I can not tell. It looks nearly brand new just barely the beginnings of a line on the cylinder lock up is quite a bit tighter then my older model 15 porkchop. It came with the case, which is a type I haven't seen before. No barrel tool or shim but I have them covered so no problem there. Please tell me what you guys think I was surprise I was the only bidder don't know if anyone else saw it up in mid January and just decided not to go for it but I feel like I got a steal.

6 digit serial number, gun came with the case, the rig was about because I was about to break her down and clean up the internals. It has clearly never been taken apart and looking down the barrel the bore looks brand new. I don't have a lot of experience but I can't find a mark that would lead me to believe the gun was ever fired.

Very lite turn ring on the cylinder, for sure. The Barney on the frame, has a great petina. Good catch.. is catching as well, huh?

Ese927: yeah DWAS is just the latest in a string of acquisition syndromes, I've had problems with. Started with straight razors, progressed to watches, high end custom kitchen knives, and now that I've finally moved to a free state (now living in Georgia, but I grew up in New JerseyJersey) I've moved into exercising my constitutional rights.
Steve CT: thanks for giving me a time frame for manufactory, I was interested in finding out when it was made.
Zedbra: thanks I just got back from the range and have to say, I feel like the 100rds I put down range was more then it has seen in its life, I almost felt bad because I honestly think that it may have been unfired but guns are meant to be used.

Oh I agree! I think all products should be used for what they were intended. I used to smoke pipes and many people thought I was 'crazy' for smoking certain 'collector' pipes. I would say, "They're pipes - they were made to smoke, not look at." I treat guns the same way. If I don't shoot it (always because I don't like the fit), I get rid of it and get one that I do.

You are very welcome. Pretty much everyone wants to know "when was it made", glad to help out even before you ask
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I was raised in the People's Republic of New Jersey too before coming back to my birth state just south of you. Enjoy your dan. Worry not about shooting it. They are one of the most indestructible guns made. They are also designed to be user friendly and not need a gunsmith for most problems. Read the "Average Joe Tuneup" and familiarize yourself with the very simple and sturdy lockwork. It may not need a cleaning per say but it is over 30 years old and will need work. Flitz will remove the imperceptible fine oxidation that occurs over time if not wiped and oiled occasionally. Be carefully to not let the cylinder start to close when ejecting cases or the extractor star will scratch the sideplate.
