I just picked this up at an auction (Dan Wesson 357 Magnum 6 Inch Barrell). I have always wanted a 357. I just don't know much about it. It says "Dan Wesson Arms 357 Magnum CTG" on the Barrell and "Dan Wesson Arms Monson, Mass. U.S.A. 321594" on the frame. Can anyone tell me what model it is or anything at all. I couldn't find much by a web search.

It appears to be a 15-2VH, if its is blued and not stainless if it is stainless it would be a 715-2VH. The VH designates the full lower rib (VH-Vent Heavy) on the barrel that runs it length with the top rib having vent slots, if the lower rib was not full only partial it would be a 15-2V (vented). !5 is that the revolver had a adjustable rear sight if it was a fixed sight it would be a 14. I am not an expert an I am sure others will also comment this is what model I believe you have.
You should go to new members introduction and introduce yourself.

Edit - the stainless steel version of the .357 Magnum is the model 715 (without the -2 suffix, which is a design variation of blued models). So, taking into account the barrel assembly style of "Vented rib" and "Heavy underlug" with a 6" length, the full model designation number is; 715-VH6.
