A local Norwich 715 for sale.
First concern is the advancement star on the extractor looks extremely worn, but I cannot access my only Norwich in comparison:
Next is the pronounced scratches on the Right-hand side. Will they scotchbrite out?
Lastly, owner posted that: "Likes Remington primers, does not like CCI." Maybe the grip is over-tightened?
But he also says "Sent it back to the factory. Nothing wrong. They recommended Rems, same answer I got from Starline Brass. CCI are very hard."
Owner wants $1K for gun with 6" and 8". He will not take $800, but will take $900 today. I am thinking it over, but exercising caution.
Advice, opinions, or thoughts? Thanks.

I would bet the scratching on the frame is mostly due to the angle of the gun to the camera and lighting. In person, I bet it looks much more normal.
As far as the extractor star, yeah I dunno. New fangled design maybe? Now I'm gonna have to pay more attention to the ones I see on GB & such.
Yeah Charger Fan, I am curious about that star. It looks very symmetrical so it might be factory. I am not familiar with the later CZ 715s where they changed the vents and lines of the shroud. Perhaps the star was changed then. Does anyone have one of those models they can check for us? I mean will someone with one of them check. I am sure some members have them. 🙄
