I just purchased a 15-2 as a Christmas present to myself. It's my first smokeless powder handgun, although I've been shooting black powder for a while now. And I've just realized why I was so attracted to the Dan – look, with the cheeky little rib under their barrels they could be sisters.

They do look good together.
I'm getting really tempted to delve into the black powder guns. I'll probably run across one soon, at a price too good to pass up. Each time I hold a stainless Ruger Old Army, I can feel it calling my name.

I would class them as second cousins both are very nice looking, I have always felt closer to the design of the Remington 44 than the Colt, it just seems that it is a much stronger system all around. Charger Fan, be careful, black power is like drugs, once you get hooked it's hard to break the habit, it took me many years.
