Got a set of the compact grips off GB and they came in yesterday.
(sorry for the quality … just tossed the gun up on the flatbed scanner since the Nikon is at home).
Much better than the target grips that came on it (of course if I ever get myself a 6" barrel I'll appreciate the target grips).
Now if my leather would get here.
Still plan on modding a set of Tyler T-Grips for it.

If you can get a T-grip to work on that, I think it would look right at home with the rest of the look.

I think I've been over complicating the T-Grip mod ... thinking about cutting thin slits in the front of the grip for the copper tabs and then either epoxying it into place or drilling a hole for a pin.
I think I'll just remove the copper tabs, drill a hole in the front of the thing, counter sink it and screw it to the front of the grip.
Should look something like this:
