Hello everyone.
Back when I joined the forum, I said I couldn't post pictures till I figured out the camera and how to post pictures----well, we'll see how this works out.
Since joining the forum, I ordered and received an 8" barrel assembly from Eric at EWK----man is it nice!!! Even though I knew it was big and heavy, I was still surprised at it's weight---I told my wife I may need to weld up a gun carriage and just drag it behind me!! Or she could come along as a gun bearer---probably not going to happen!
Really, I'm proud to have the gun and the new barrel assembly--I think they look great together. I havent had a chance to shoot it yet, have had other projects to finish and am getting ready for the opening of deer season---If I dont get to hunt with it this season, then there are plenty of feral hogs to keep me busy until next year! Also, Eric drilled and tapped the shroud for a scope base--I'm going to scope it asap---havent settled on a scope yet, but am leaning towards a leupold. I would welcome any suggestions if someone has a favorite scope to recommend.
Also , I would like to say THANK YOU to Eric at EWK---It was a real pleasure to do business with him. He produces a quality product and provides friendly, personal service.
Well, lets see if I can post some pictures---I apologize in advance for the quality, the dont do the gun or BA justice---
Thanks for looking

Here is an updated photo showing the newly mounted m8-2x scope (thanks again Charlie C !!). It looks like I may have to reverse the base and engineer it to extend over the receiver--- I havent been able to get a satisfactory eye relief in its current configuration.
Thanks for looking
