Hello everyone.

Back when I joined the forum, I said I couldn't post pictures till I figured out the camera and how to post pictures----well, we'll see how this works outlaugh.

Since joining the forum, I ordered and received an 8" barrel assembly from Eric at EWK----man is it nice!!! Even though I knew it was big and heavy, I was still surprised at it's weight---I told my wife I may need to weld up a gun carriage and just drag it behind mewink!! Or she could come along as a gun bearer---probably not going to happen!

Really, I'm proud to have the gun and the new barrel assembly--I think they look great together. I havent had a chance to shoot it yet, have had other projects to finish and am getting ready for the opening of deer season---If I dont get to hunt with it this season, then there are plenty of feral hogs to keep me busy until next year! Also, Eric drilled and tapped the shroud for a scope base--I'm going to scope it asap---havent settled on a scope yet, but am leaning towards a leupold. I would welcome any suggestions if someone has a favorite scope to recommend.

Also , I would like to say THANK YOU to Eric at EWK---It was a real pleasure to do business with him. He produces a quality product and provides friendly, personal service.

Well, lets see if I can post some pictures---I apologize in advance for the quality, the dont do the gun or BA justice---

Pics look just fine! The EWK barrel makes a tough looking gun.

UPDATED PHOTOS

Here is an updated photo showing the newly mounted m8-2x scope (thanks again Charlie C !!). It looks like I may have to reverse the base and engineer it to extend over the receiver--- I havent been able to get a satisfactory eye relief in its current configuration.

Thanks for looking

MORE UPDATED PICS

Decided to reverse the scope mount to move scope further back. Had to do some file work to fit the reciever. It was worth the effort, I now can extend to arms length and get a good view thru the scope. Now to the loading bench and then some range work.big-grin
