Really nice!  Thanks for the cool-pics.  Is it a Palmer gun?  I ask because as I started to clean and polish my Palmer 740 horrendous machine marks appeared on the frame.  Basically from the trigger back, circular grinding marks appeared.  On the right side there were so deep I could feel them with my finger nail.  I mention this because the polishing became a much bigger job than I anticipated.  On the plus side, now that I'm almost done it really shines.  I'll try to start a thread with pics on it tonight.

Again, that is a really nice acquisition.  Congrats!

Really nice snag, and I don't feel bad about missing that auction.  One, because a DWF brother got it and two, it doesn't fit my Monson collection.  Of course neither does the AGS...

Looking forward to hearing/ seeing how it shoots for you.

Best Regards,

Ron

Glad to hear it cleaned up well and is grind mark free.  I started with the Mother's and discovered the grind marks.  Being careful I tried the 2500 grit but that was very slow going.  The 1000 grit was still slow but I could see progress so I haven't tried anything more aggressive.  Then I went back to the 2500 and followed it with the Mother's.  If I tilt the frame just right I can still see "waves" in the metal but it looks a lot better now, almost like it's been plated.  I've got the cylinder left to do.  Then it's clean and assemble.  I need to get a good picture of the frame now that's it done and get the before and after pics posted.

Have you tried Renaissance Wax?  I just got some but haven't tried it yet.

Great looking 732!  It's very cool that it came with two barrel assemblies as well.
