Here are some pics of my recently acquired SRS 22. With a 10" barrel it's the proverbial tack driver, and even better it likes cheap ammo 
.
I haven't shot a silhouette match yet but have been killing lots of steel chickens and pigs in practice.
The only thing I don't really like is the rubber grip - I find the finger grooves annoying. Any suggestions for alternatives would be welcomed.

Nice gun. Pull the rubber grips off and put a set of target grips on. There are several options - target are readily available in the secondary market (gunbroker, ebay, etc.), Hogue makes custom exotic wood grips without finger grooves (Midway USA), or LB can make a custom set for you depending on backlog.

You can also go to Hogue's website http://www.getgrip.com and find a large variety of grips there that they will make for you. Be aware that hogue grips are expensive. Check the link to LB's site in the right hand column. I have a couple of his grips and I love them.

I use the Houge wood finger groove grips on mine and like them a lot.
You can find them on Ebay.

Thanks for sharing. Those SRS's are a real rare treat to behold. I have two myself and know of one other by a member here in .41 Magnum. Those are the only ones I have ever seen. Enjoy it.

This SRS thing is starting to intrigue me.
The above is a 22.
Harly's got a 357SM.
SMF, what calibers are yours?
There's at least one 41 as mentioned above.
I found an old post, http://czechpistols82792.yuku.com/topic/998/SRS-1, on the cz forum that a 360 was made.
Were these third party customized guns? Or were they factory special issues? Are they all stainless? SA only? Thanks for any answers.

They were produced in house at DW. Based on what I have read they were only produced in Stainless and in the following calibers:
1) 22LR
2) 360DW
3) 41Mag
4) 44Mag
5) 357Max
6) 414SM
7) 445SM
Who knows if there's a one off out there somewhere...

Mine are a 357SM and a 414SM both stainless with vented barrels with slots.

I found one writer claiming 25 or so 414SM SRS' were made prior to the first bankruptcy. Production of these were resumed when production resumed.

He's obviously a better shot at 200 yards than I am at 25.

There's an interesting story about Seth Wesson testing a 357 by replacing the barrel with a solid steel rod. The gun survived and functioned normally.

I know of one. Seth Wesson built one revolver in 7-30 Waters, you should have seen the cylinder. I tried mightily to get him to sell it to me but no such luck.
