I saw what you paid for the 2ND and 3Rd one on ebay you must have DWAS real bad 🙂
Yeah, I figured you guys would have seen that and I'm not real proud of it. I will have to amend my FeeBay bidding strategy specifically for DW items, because all the other dudes with DWAS took my max bids to the extreme in the last 15-seconds.

I've never seen a smooth concealed carry grip before, and smooth target grips in Zebra are rare in small frame.Exactly !
I've got one of those mini grips srored away, first time I tried it, found it very painfull to use, and after a dozen or so rounds it split in the front, causing even more pain, when I pulled it off with intent to repair it, I decided t9 forego the repair, and when reinstalled and itghtened, it split even more... id store it and not shoot it, they are fragile for sure, gotta dig mine out and glue and pin it back together...thanks for the reminder.

I was the one that wanted the smooth zebra wood one bid less than you did! Nice addition! Congrats.
Well, although I was the victor in that particular battle, I paid dearly for it .. quite literally.
Anyhow, to .. why not go to "New Members Introductions" board and post an intro of yourself along with some of your toys ?

I've noticed that people use all kind of names for the various styles of grips and even those that come in factory NOS boxes may not be the grip on the label. I found this pic that SHOOTIST357 posted in the Historical thread, that clears that up.

Need to update the collection. Here's a fun fact....those classic checkered walnut target grips - now you know where they were subcontracted to in the earlier days.
Now here's the really cool stuff....full set of factory SS VH assy's. 2.5 in - 10 in, no markings. These are barrelled in .32 cal. and are the basis of what I call a Superpack (seems fitting for an election year). They're going to be coupled with a full set of barrel tubes in .22 and .357. In goes 3 new Palmer era SS guns 1) 732-20 with a factory fitted .32 mag cylinder, 2) 722 with a factory fitted .22M cylinder, and 3) 715. 3 frames x 6 calibers x 5 barrel lengths all complimented with a selection of the best grips. All in 1 pack (well, maybe 2). The Superpack.

Both very interesting trivia bits .. any story about the unmarked shrouds ?
