Hey, I saw them all, and I like what I see. Someone is trying to corner the fixed sight market, eh?

I have one of those "birds head" grips, I kind of like it on my 722 with the 2 1/2" barrel.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Hossman, I see them & they look great!Smile Are they all 357's?

I see that you've got three of the Model 14 varations covered in your collection, that's really cool. If I'm not mistaken, all you need is a 714 (stainless) to complete the set.

Yes, they are all .357s.  5 DWs in a month will wipe out a gun budget in a hurry.  I have enjoyed the ride.  I still don't know how to post a picture.  And this picture has a whole bunch of garbage at the top.  You guys may have seen the last picture from me.  I'm not very good at a computer but my step son works on computers for a living.  When he gets over the flu I'll take some lessons..... maybe.

There is so much that I don't know about DWs.  I read a lot on the forum and it's a challenge to understand some of the words that I don't know.  Every time someone has a problem with one, I check mine to see if I also have a problem.  I'm along for the experience.  Keep the good info coming.  I still don't know which one of my guns has "birds head" grips.  laughing

There is a 714 on GB with about 10 days left.  The bid is already up to $305.  Anybody want to buy me a Christmas present a little early?Big Grin

I think you did just fine, it looks great on my end.Cool

That 714's been the rounds a few times. I haven't been paying attention to how high the bidding's gone previously, but I have a hunch that reserve is somewhere near $500. However, 714's don't exactly grow on trees, so I could see a collector paying that for it.

The picture did look good but the garbage at the top is a total embarrassment.  As far as the 714 goes, I'm not experienced enough to know what it's worth.  With my current collection would it be worth $500 to add to what I already have?  SS is not going to look too good with all the blue but is it enough in the 14-2 family to warrant the change in color?  I'm not a "collector" but I'm an accumulator of guns.  I have about 30 and will pass them on to my son.  Thoughts......... anyone?

I picked up a HS Sentinal II about a month ago and sent it to Mark for a reblue.  Should be back in a week or two.  Then I will need a D-11, right?

D-11 is right! some are in 38 sp only others in 357. then others maybe ugly fixed barrel.  You got it going with Pork!  Keep it up! There is a W-12 on Gb been rolling over and over at 330!  360 with shipping I can't believe it is still on here!

I have been watching the W-12 for some time.  It always catches my eye.  I need to hold out for a D-11?  I assume the D-11 has fixed sights, right.  If you run across what I need let me know.  Do you think the W-12 is a good buy?  If it is then why doesn't it sell..... maybe it's because it's ugly.  Your thoughts???

I was sticking with fixed sights until I ran across the 15-2 PP locally and bought it.  DWs are easier to resist on the internet than when you see them in person.  I didn't have to pay shipping or transfer fees for the one I bought.

Thanks for your suggestions.  I've been in the DW business for all of 2.5 months so I'm still learning.

Not sure why that W rolls over and over! It seems to be a good looking one just not sure I need another right now. I like the fixed sites too seem to flow  the D-11 is fixed as well. 2 months you have it bad man!!!  I found 2 HS at the same gun show a II & III brought them both home!  Shown in pic below is a D-11!

The only drawback is that you can't get the shroud off...so that means you can't get the crane off, either.screwy I'm not really sure why they did these.
