Here are my two Dan Wessons, the 14 is the first gun I ever bought purchased in th early 80s for 80$. I am not sure how many rounds have been sent thru it but it is easily several thousand. I have never had any issues with it and best I can remember never a miss fire. I will say that it is the best shooting pistol I have ever fired, accurate and dependable. The 15-2 is a recent purchase and with the help of the " how to slick up your 15" thread I was able to take it apart and clean up the areas that were rubbing. After putting it back to gether I was impressed with the difference I felt with testing it out using dummy rounds. Grateful for the knowledge shared on here.

I didn't purchase the 14 new, me and my dad was at a gun show saw a young man carrying it ask if it was for sale he said yes wanted 100$, checked it out all looked good and tight and I knew a little about Dans and the reputation they had with the target shooting competition. I offered 80 he said yes and my dad said i was crazy to pay that much for a pistol. Told dad I liked it and wanted a good quality gun he said it's your money its your gun. After getting it home we both shot several rounds of 38s thru it and he said he couldn't believe how good it shot and felt in his hand, maybe you didn't do bad buying it. And wondering why my pics rotated 180 when it uploaded?
