I can't seem to figure out how to put text with the pics.  My 15 yo daughter came to me the other day and said she would like a CO2 gun since some of her friends have them.  I didn't want to get her a toy pistol and she says to me "but dad its a Dan Wesson".  So I had to look it up, sure enough, she had picked out a replica CO2 gun made to look like a Dan Wesson revolver.  It is all metal except the grip, the cylinder opens (smiff style) and you load the 4.5mm bbs into special shells that look like 38 cal rounds.  They are actually the size of 38 cal rounds too, also has a speed loader and "tool" for adjusting the sights.  The cyl revolves and the ejector rod actually functions.  Comes in a box similar to the Dan Wesson and has adjustable sights for windage and elevation and has a functional rail for adding a scope or laser sight!  This gun does not look or feel like a toy, it actually handles alot like my 15-2, the gun my daughter likes to shoot.  When she asked for this I couldn't say no, she obviously has good taste.

BTW this thing is supposed to push rounds out at about 450-500fps!  Even I can't wait to shoot it.

Oh, it is single and double action and the hammer actually functions.  For a replica its pretty convincing.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Very cool... I just wish they had put the cylinder release in the correct location!  Let you know how you like it after you shoot it.

Yep those are neat CO2 pistols. They make several DW designs. They will tear up a coke can.

I know, I guess I've mellowed (NOT!) but DWF is for the common enjoyment of all. It would be more tolerable with the cylinder latch in the correct location.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I got my daughters' from Amazon, cheaper than ebay even though its from the same place Pyramid Air.  They also had a better selection on Amazon, they come in 4,6 and 8" barrel lengths but I think the 8 only comes in black, looks almost like the AGS.  Its a pretty cool looking replica, though I would have liked to see the cyl. latch in the correct location.  Should be interesting to shoot, good practice for her since with school she doesn't make it to the range too often.  Hopefully she can practice with this and then shoot my DW 22 with ease.  smile
