[Image Can Not Be Found]Here are some better pics of my model 15 pac. It actualy has , I think everything except a key. I did already pop the side plate off and looked inside. It's skweeky clean. no goo, no debris, no residual build up of any sort it appears to be factory clean. These are the heavy shrouds, i beleive with one extra 8'' standard shroud. The paper work was underneath the foam. There is a date of 4/1/78 on the price list. i am including a shot of one other little something or other that may have a new daddy.

Thanks ya'll, I really like this place. A special thank you to Steve CT for pointing me towards Shootist357s great Average Joe post. Thank you Shootist, for that wonderful pictorial you made.
After I replaced the side plate on my frame, the hammer would not cock. I noticed the hand spring had come loose and Shootist's post took all the guess work out of it for me. I'm positive I will refer to that post for years to come.
It looks like I am also missing the patch and buckle for a totally complete set, not that that matters, I know I really lucked into this set.
Thanks for the tip Zoom It would be cool to lock the case up and I'm sure I'll get a key.
I also would like to know if any one can tell me if the shroud from a model 22 will work on a model 15 ? Also are the handles compatible?
Also will someone tell me about dry firing? Is it OK on a double action Dan or what, What are the consequences ? (other than the shop owner or owner crawling down your back side)

Grips and shrouds are interchangeable 22>15-2 and vice-versa. I use a 715 6VH shroud with a 22 barrel very regularly on my 722.
Dry firing on a DW revolver is fine, BUT it is always a point of courtesy to ask if dry fire is OK on any gun you handle. It may be very ill advised on some .22 autoloaders.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
