Mounted scope fired one round and was off only one inch, made adjustment and clover leafed 3 shots. 
Took off barrel and installed 4" to have some friendly competition with friend who has an old S&W 357 blued with big target grips that he had sent to S&W PC for their tunning package. He laughed and said no way was the DW accurate with the interchanging barrels, and I will say the Smith was a beauty.
n the process I knocked off the VH6 BA with the new scope, picked it up to look it over and discovered end of shroud with small nick on the underlug and the scope rattling. 
I called Leupold and they said not to worry warrany would cover repair or replacement even if bought used, guy says warranty goes with scope not the owner. 
So I mailed it to them today, I hope it is back in 2 or 3 weeks.
Almost forgot the shotout with the S&W. The guy went first and did the single action aim and fire putting 3 in the bull and two that clipped the bull. I did double action and put all six into a 2" bull from 25 yards. The guy just packed his gun bag up and left, three other guys who were standing there watching just laughed at the guys reaction.
One guy asked me if I thought I could do it again, and I started laughing a said "I don't know, but I do know when to quit". 
Then we started talking about Leupold scopes, warranty, then weather and arthrits. Old farts seem to always end up talking about body functions, ache's and pains.

I can do the 1.5" groups at 25 yards with my M-22 V4 double action and two weeks ago couldn't do it with the M-15 V4, only difference was the red insert on the 15, so at friends suggestion I put on a black front sight that I had and was then a week later to try the new front site and zero the scope. But shooting at red dots with red front sight is an obvious problem that was easy solved.
My favorite DW's are the twins, 22-V4 and 15-V4 because they just feel so perfect in my hand and I can drive tacks with them.
