The $100 shipping is a little high. Usually around 35-45 dollars.
Agreed. It was the first thing I discussed with him. The range you quoted is what I'm used to, but I am only just learning New York laws. I told him you didn't need to ship from an FFL, only to one and to check out Fed-Ex. He started talking about NY registration stuff, which I know nothing about.

It is just the beginning. DWAS is incurable, and can only be put in remission by spending lots of money.
Oh, I beg to differ. I am married to a nurse who has remarkable powers in curbing

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Some here think it's a great start, but my reply is no .. you mean it's a great finish !
Other than an odd grip or two, here and there, I hope I've satisfied my urges !
I am not about to kid myself in believing I would be able to collect one of every DW model and variation. Probably won't range outside of .357 cal. and not going to start with stainless either (I've got enough of those in 1911's). Not going to collect old W12, 11, 14 or 15 safe queens.
Ahhhh, it feels so good to be done !!!

What do you guys think ?
I think that looks pretty sweet!
If you're going to have your 15-2 in there, along with all the barrels, I would probably get new foam & lay it out in a non-factory way. I would put the longest BA at the bottom & graduate to sorter as they go up. I think that may be the best way to get them all in there & not risk them clanking together when you stand the case upright to carry it. Of course, you wouldn't have room for grips & buckle, any longer.
