Well I don't remember seeing a thread on this before now, but, a search today showed at least a few people have suffered a broken crane assembly before me. My model 15 came apart on me today. The first cylinder full at the range grouped well. When I went to load the cylinder again it didn't feel right when I put it back together. Closer look and ..... Oh Darn. The break doesn't look clean like it just now snapped. Maybe it had been slowly coming apart for a long time now. Either way it's gone now.
Per the previous threads I've emailed Keith to see if they can fix it for me. I hope so. I really liked this gun.

Bummer! Don't email Keith. I'd recommend emailing Bob (lead revolver smith at DW) instead. Bob@cz-usa.com
He'll take good care of you. I had him fit a new 44 mag cylinder for me earlier this year.

Or buy this tired cylinder and use the crane....kind of pricey to get a $20 part but saves a bunch of time.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

My experience is that not all the parts are interchangeable. I had an ejector rod stripped out in the crane and tried to replace with another cylinder and crane. It didn’t fit right and bound terribly.
True but just the crane isn't an issue. If you replaced the whole cylinder, ejector included, you affected the timing most likely. The hand interacts with the ejector to advance the cylinder and sometimes requires hand fitting.
