As I work on my collection it's rare to get to check one off. But alas I finally made a deal on a model 14-2. So for everyone who needs a little gun porn today, sunning on a log is my newly acquired monson 14-2 2.5 in matt blue sporting a checkered walnut service grip.

DWAS will be in remision for at least 30 minutes or so.wink

Cool! Of course I think it is just begging for a Shootist grip, or maybe an Alibi in zebra wood, etc.poke

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Agreed, anybody know where I can find something like that? wink

The scary part is its practically mint, too mint for me to play with(almost). At first I thought it had been re-blued, but I think it has just been in the sock drawer for the past 35 years.

You've gotta love it when you stumble on one that's super clean. Congrats on landing that one LB, it sure looks like a beauty.drool One of these days I'll run across "the" 14-2 that's been waiting for me.

Not that I would know... but porn suggests more than one small ( but well executed) pic...

kidding

Big congrats. I am kinda hoping to get one of those next.

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.

That is a very nice 14-2. L.B. showed it to me and it really looks that good. A great find. Enjoy L.B., I'll bet it shoots pretty good.

Nice find and great picture!  To be honest I don't think I've ever seen a 14-2 around here in person!  Must not have been too many Dan Fans in my area!
