The case on the left with yellow fabric is an original DW case
Well DF, first I thank you for your reply, I won't stop being nervous till I have it in hand, I got it and a set of combat grips for 87.50, (Canadian Dollars). In an auction. Should have them next week.
The DW case is worth 200 to 300 depending on condition. The Hogue rubber grip about 25. The combat grip about 50 and the one in the center is worth nothing but it could be carved into an uncheckered Undercover grip if you have woodworking skills. The case on the right you can use for extra stuff when you get Dan Wesson Acquisition Syndrome..

Dan Wesson used a slender case late in the Monson and Palmer years. I can't tell from the photos but the latches swivel to open. It is my favorite type of case but the blue foam that came with it deteriorates into sticky stuff. It has a black pebbled surface.
The slim case used by Dan Wesson in the Monson and Palmer years is an A.T. The latches do swivel and are laminated........(The chrome latched by AT are close but not as authentic). I got my first when I bought a Hunter Pac from a member here. Second was on epay for my .445, and just bought an identical AT attache/briefcase that I will convert for my Model 40 and accessories. Keys are near impossible to find if you look for them separately from a case purchase.

lol, thanks kurtB, I have to admit I did a little Jig when the time ran out and I had won the auction. Never thought I would find one and be able to afford it. One on Ebay right now, starting bid 450$, my wife would shoot me and I know she would use my gun...lol

dbxdiver, that's some nice stuff! *coolness*
That case you have is just like many of them I've seen. My '78 Pistol Pac brochure has that rectangular handle, flip-up latches, and the brown AT Polara case.
I'm almost done putting together 2 sets of 15-2VHs. Can you tell me the dimensions on that case? I'm not gonna try to leave anyone thinking I have 2 genuine Pistol Pacs, but I just might let them wonder for a bit. *grins*
Thanks.
