When I acquired my used 15-2 about a year ago I wasn't even aware it had an over travel adjustment on the trigger. I noticed it the first time I did a thorough cleaning, but didn't know how it was adjusted. I was happy with the accuracy and function of the gun so I didn't bother to investigate any further until recently. I finally decided to check it out and discovered that while the adjustment was currently screwed all the way into the trigger it had previously been set further out as there was marking on the frame. I went ahead and adjusted it to where it barely touched the frame at full cock, and then turned it in one full turn. Wild blind guess, but it worked. The next trip to the range was a real eye opener, as my already decent groups were suddenly smaller. Felt like a different gun! So, for me at least, that final bit of legendary DW accuracy was only achieved with a properly adjusted over travel stop screw.
