I put a 2" pork chop barrel on my 15-1 and the extractor hangs up .will not let cylinder open. I ordered a spacer/from ewk arms hoping the will move barrel forward to give extractor more room to let cylinder open. was thinking any pok chop barrel would work . the Dan Wesson 15-1 came to me with a 6" barrel ,shoots great very accurate . also have a 15-2 4" and a 44 mag stainless 8".

Are you talking barrel and shroud ?? I'm no porky expert, but I think so if you're not changing just barrel. As long as length is same, ok.

If you are asking if the Barrel Assembly of a model 12 work on a model 15, then yes. The model 15 rear sight is the same as a 12. A model 15-1(unofficially a-1) has a different rear sight and you may have point of aim problems. If you asking if a model 12 barrel tube will work on a 15 shroud, I would say maybe. The end of the shroud of a 15 is very thin metal and may or may not provide a secure base for the exterior barrel nut. Keep in mind that the model twelve barrel tube is a1/4" longer than a model 15.
