Kenn- the plastic piece of crap was easily one of DW's dumbest choices.
The reason I asked about the two piece tool is because I was just going thru some old odds and ends and found one part of that original barrel tool, the "spud". I think I have the other piece somewhere, and I will look for it.
In any case, the one part that I have is yours. Give me few days to find the other half on this tool, give me a PM bump sometime this weekend and I think I can put it all together for you. Just be really careful using either the two piece tool or the "plastic fantastic" one, many DW barrel nuts have been rounded out with both of these wrenches.
Use the DW ones for show, and EWK's for go

Scorpio- I have a few of the EWK tools already and need to order a few more I think as Steve mentioned I definitely us the DW for show and EWK's for go. Live and learn I guess.
