Her performing on the range. When I used 357's it took a few times for the pin to ig night the round and fire it off. So I'm going to see what I can do about that.

I've had that problem. You could just need a new hammer spring.
Oh well darn. Atleast the 38's worked fine.

Nicholas-
For any kind of misfire on a DW revolver, I always recommend:
1) Adjust the grip screw in/out 1/4 turn at a time to see if the problem is a grip screw snugged in to deeply (and this is ALWAYS suspect if the grip is not a DW factory original)
2) Look at the Average Joe Tune-up https://www.danwessonforum.com/forum/reloading/tuning-up-your-15-2-the-average-joe-method/ to at least do a basic clean up and spring replacement
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks! This should help!

Flipped through som e of your pics over there! Fine looking DW you have there! The DW grips are some what of a rare find these days. Now you need to venture over to EWK and snag a 2.5" EH with some FO sites mounted on it! Talk about a calmer for the 357. THen check with LB on the great grips for the Dan, I would recomend the shootiest style to go with the suit and tie!
Keep us posted and enjoy the DW!

Are you sayin 38's shoot just fine and the 357's are the ones giving
the miss fires ? Might just be some hard primers and I would try a
different brand if thats the case.

Thats what I thought, they were relatively cheap rounds and the pin did hit the primer when I carefully took one out to inspect it after I had tried to ignite it. All they needed was a spanking one more time to get them going.

We have all ran into some hard primered ammo at one time or another.
Now If you try two or three different brands and have the same problem
then I would look in to it.

Yeah, if I can find the box I can tell you which ones to stay away from. I had 10 rounds that didn't go off the first time and would not have been good to have been using if you were in a struggle for your life.

The only ammo I ever had my Dan refuse to fire was some Magtech 38+P's. They took 3 to 4 strikes each! It was ridiculous. It was the same in a Taurus I had at the time and a Ruger too. I think I still have another box of it around here somewhere.
