Hello guys!
I just wanted to show off my humble 715 and some of the progress I made with it! Some of you know the story behind my gun and the trouble I went through to have it back. Its truly a part of my self and I want it to be as perfect as possible. Below there are some photos of my pride!
After a heavy shooting day the Dan was torn apart and thoroughly cleaned. The top of the frame and barrels were sandblasted at my work and all the chambers were cleaned again and again until all the deposits from years of 0.38 shooting had left. All the cleaning work was done in my modeling workshop (anyone who can guess all the aircrafts shown wins!) because the fiancee didn't want me to mess the rest of the house.
Also at some point in the gun's life the gap was eliminated possibly because of over tightening and concentric marks were left on the face of the cylinder, a little bit of grinding got them off! One photo shows my Dan with the hogue grip that Jody very kindly provided me! Thanks Jody and thank you all for reading! (sorry if I got you tired again!!)

Congratulations Albert! The Greek government finally come through. That's a handsome 715 (I love mine).
I bet you are happy to have your dad's prize possession in hand.
BTW, I like your model cabinet.
To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:
if you find one...what's your plan?

Albert,Being a new member on here I just read your old thread, very inspiring story of a man with a lot of patience.
Those pictures show your attachment and the care that you put forth into restoring your 715, it is beautiful.
Keep up the great work!
