Anyone know where I can find the value of my DW Munson 715? The only ones I see on gunbroker and other auction sights are the newer Norwitch 715's. Since I traded one of my 1911's for it(it was listed as trade for a 1911-no cash), I have no idea of it's actual worth.
Here are pictures if that helps.

The quickest way to get an idea is to go on GunBroker and do an advanced search for completed items. I just took a quick look and I would say your gun would sell in the range of $425 - $625. It all depends on who is looking at the time you sell.
Values are going up and the Monson guns appear regularly on GunBroker. You just have to look closely to see the difference.
Just my opinion for what it's worth.

I recently saw a similar 715 with same grips at a local gun shop but with the 4" barrel instead of the 8" shown in your pic. Came with the tool and it had a sticker price of $700. What snake-eye said I think would make a reasonable offer on this firearm, but I'd make a lower offer since someone obviously replaced the original front sight. Maybe $400? The Monson revolvers are sought after and I agree that most of the 715's I have seen are more from more recent years.

I still have the original sights, extra rear sight springs, a barrel tool , gap gauge and two other rubber grips.. I do not have the original grips. I'm not really looking to sell yet, but maybe trade for a similar 15-2(barrel assemblies are more readily available in blue than they are in stainless).
BTW, the barrel in the picture is 6", not 8".

You all are correct. It just depends on who is lusting at the time. A Newby can bid a mundane Dan way above its normal value. Snake-eye's high end is about right for just the gun. Tool, box, papers, VH BAs in other than 6" add value. The 4" adds the most. The Hogue rubber grips are a baseline. Add about 20 for wood combat grips,40 for targets, and up to 125 for Zebras. I needed another 715 like I need more holes in my head but I just won a very nice frame only for 615. It has a DW medallion Gripper worth 150. That makes the bare frame worth 465. I probably have about 2 dozen extra barrel assemblies so I figure it would be worth about 700 or a little more. Not a deal but I had to have that gripper. They were standard on Field Pistol Packs. I don't know if they were sold separately.
