Digging through the clutter in the attic the other day, I stumbled across this and figured it was time to post a pic of it as the older models IMHO don't seem to get as much exposure as they once did.
Having owned it for perhaps close to a decade, suspect I've never even fired it as I'll usually place a Hogue grip on them beforehand for comfort.

Wow, seriously, this was in "the clutter in the attic?" I think I'd spend a little extra time rummaging through the "clutter" up in the attic, who knows what might be found LOL! And for sure put the grips on and send some rounds downrange!
I really like the porkchop DW's, just have that classic look. I have a model 15, identical to yours but with an internal nut (same sights, etc.), my favorite handgun. Or is my favorite the Model 14? Or maybe...

Nice find in your "clutter"! Thanks for showing it off to us.
I agree that the older Porkchop models don't get as much respect as the later models. Much of that is largely due to the "ugly nut" at the end of the barrel. IMO, the look of the Porkchops is sort of an acquired taste. I myself didn't like the look initially, but then I bought a couple & my opinion changed dramatically...now I love 'em!
Here are a pair of my W12's, which I feel very fortunate to own.

New to the Forum and to my Wesson W12. Just bought last week. Mine has 6" barrel. Can a barrel from another model fit on a W12? looking for a 2.5 inch. Consider a 4" Also.....thoughts on rubber grips? Mine is in great shape but Im use to shooting Hogues or Pachmyers. Thanks in advance. Basstguy
