The Gentleman I bought my 15-2 VH pistol pac from sent me a note with additional info, an original letter from DWA's about the 12"VH B/A along with the receipt stapled to it for $53.88 
including tax and a date of 1995 on it. I am speechless.

Holy Cow! less than $60 in 1995! I wish I'd filled my basement with those things back in the day at those prices, I could retire now.

No kidding. At 15 to 1 who wouldn't want some of that action. I gave $139.00 for my 15-2-4" new in the box in the winter of 77' 78' at a mall sporting goods store. Wow I'm getting old!

My 15-2 6" was (I think) $169 at Dunhams Sporting Goods in Pontiac, MI 1977. My first gun

Yeah Steve, It wasn't my first gun, but it was the first that I ever paid over $100. for. I wanted one of those other Wesson's but the Dirty Harry thing made those hard to come by. I ended up getting some later in life but I was sure glad I didn't miss out on meeting Dan. They were the best shooters in my experience.
