Here's a question for the NH members.
We spend several weeks each year with relatives in the Lakes Region - on Lovell Lake. We'd like to take some handguns this year and do some target shooting/plinking while we're there. I'm familiar with the NH firearms laws, which are very reasonable. The even honor my PA CCW permit.
This year we'd like to take a few handguns and do a little target shooting/plinking. We did find a club, the Pemigewasset Valley Fish & Game Club, near Lake Squam, that offers daily memberships, so that looks like one option.
One of the neighbors told us that he goes plinking up in one of the 1200 acre Wildlife Management Areas, but is discrete and careful to get 300 feet away from all trails and roads.
I looked carefully over the rules and regulations online, and could find nothing that stated that discharging firearms in such an area was prohibited. We're talking miles from the nearest road, with mountains between us and the nearest buildings (also miles away).
BTW, I'm 63 and relatively harmless looking <g>.
