Here's 2 of my carry knives next to my Dan in the 6" setup until I get some EWK's
The folder is a cold steel voyager, I have dinged it up plenty of times and resharpened it. Favorite folder or course.
Next up is my cheapo fixed knife from frost cutlery, I carry it because if it gets confiscated by a LEO or lost I won't miss it, cost me 6" off ebay.
Third pic should be a Cold steel trench hawk, not exactly a knife, I know but it's fun to hack up firewood with it, not the efficient axe and it's probably better suited for flesh than wood.

Ok another post before I forget where my camera is: 1st pic (ignoring the green knife) From left to right - my Cold steel recon tanto, back when they used to be made in the states, a custom knife of my own creation with the fugly wooden scales painted over them, 9" overall, made from a 1060 carbon billet I think heat treated on a barbecue grill, holds an edge pretty decent
then the cold steel shanghai shadow (I like their products ok?) Sharp as sin.
Moving on the my longer blades (I'm still going through a ninja phase apparently) First up is an oldschool Ontario knife co. Blackwind katana, made in the late 80's early 90's according to google. 30" long, I have carried this til the paracord came loose, got creative and pinned some oak scales on it and hastily gave her a japanese style handwrap. Works great as a chopper as it has felled many a small tree. Not as many as the Ontario wakizashi though! Coming in at 24" I think, I have used this medium one a lot more for hacking, nice and whippy little short sword. Haven't taken any of these hiking in a while though - The cold steel tanto fits right in with the "Evil black ninja weapons set" the katana and wakizashi are both 1095 carbon steel. The Recon tanto (shortest one) is cabon V, which is basically a slightly better 1095 with a fancy name. This one is a group shot on the attic and please forgive the mess. After looking at the pic I think I left a few knives out, I'll have to do some more digging, should be a machete in there somewhere but can't find it. I have more swords I left with my mom after I moved out many years ago, most were junk, but some were great. If I ever visit I'll post em

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Went to Wally World yesterday, bought some ammo for a good deal on Perfecta. Was waiting for change and looking in the case full of knives. Saw a couple of fixed blade Buck knives and under others, away from the Bucks, package torn.
I saw a blade and Buck label and said "let me see that". He pulled it out and I had to
Less than 30.00 Like all Buck knives, made in USA, lifetime Warr.!!
420HC blade, I had to, they only had 1 too. !!
