Pardon my ignorance, since I'm not much of a hunter. I assume the camera is in a tree or something, so what's the tripod thing for?
Tripod has a feeder mounted on it. Feeder will have a timer that will release the feed (usually corn maybe with a protein mixed in) at specific times for a set interval.
To the paranoid people who check behind shower curtains for murderers:
if you find one...what's your plan?

Ahh, thank you. I wonder how often it dumps a load on the head of deer already munching the previous load?

It's funny how tuned into the schedule they can get. I've sat in blinds late at night and early in the AM and watched them wander up shortly before the timer sets off the feeder.
